Short info about the teacher:
Romano Dautanac (Franto Frantic, Frki, Kipo, “The Man with 1000 Faces”) is a comedian, performer and leader of the circus-travelling organization KUĆNI TEATER ŠKRIPZIKL. He specializes in the design and performance of one-man & duo performances that have appeared in theatres, galleries, clubs, pubs, squares and streets in the last fifteen years. He professionalized the art of pantomime, musical comedy and performances based on the acting speed of transformation, so the group became known as “chameleons”. Romano is a graduate philosopher, visual artist (both MA at the University of Zagreb), and our first graduate clown (BA in Clowning) from N.C.I International School (Barcelona)! Through his own production at the Škripzikl Home Theater, he records dozens of videos / short films, pantomime performances and surprise sketches, concerts, clown performances, and in various combinations they appear in many radio and TV shows, and perform in Slovenia, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Poland. Italy and England. They explore and nurture the aesthetics of silent film and musical comedy. The permanent exhibition of this home theatre has three members, but about fifteen collaborators from various fields of creativity (directors, cameramen, editors, photographers, designers) participate in various projects.
